Marketplace

The community marketplace lets sellers publish their shop design as a template and others install it.

Buying and installing

1. Browse listings and filter by search, tag, free or paid, and sort by newest, most popular, price or rating.
2. Preview a listing live.
3. Buy it through Stripe Checkout, or add a free listing to your library.
4. Install it onto one of your shops. Your plan's limits apply. You can undo the latest install and restore the previous design.

Buyers can leave a review (1 to 5 stars and a short text). Only verified buyers can review.

How listings are shown

Listings are ordered by the sort option you choose. The default is newest first. There are no paid placements: a higher price or a SellSpace relationship does not move a listing up.

Selling a template

1. Design your shop with the builder.
2. In Marketplace publish your current design as a listing with a title, description, price, tags and images.
3. New and edited listings are moderated. A listing is pending until it is approved. If you edit a published listing it goes back to pending.
4. Once published, sales appear in your author dashboard with your net earnings.

You need a connected Stripe account to receive payouts. You may only list designs you own the rights to.

Commission

SellSpace keeps a 15% commission on each marketplace sale. The payment goes to your connected Stripe account and the commission is split off automatically. A listing can only be deleted while nobody has bought it. You can unpublish it at any time. Walkthrough: sell your template.
