Anti-Fraud

Refuse checkouts you do not want, keep trusted buyers through, and see every decision. Anti-Fraud is available from the Premium plan.

How it works

Open Anti-Fraud in the dashboard (it follows the shop you picked in the shop switcher). Rules live on two lists. A buyer who matches a blacklist rule cannot complete the checkout and sees a generic message (or your own text) that never says which rule matched. A buyer who matches a whitelist rule is let through, and the whitelist always wins over the blacklist.

Rule types

TypePlanWhat it matches
E-mail address, E-mail domainPremiumThe buyer e-mail typed at checkout, exact match.
NetworkPremiumA buyer network, created from a fraud log entry or an order (see privacy below).
User agentPremiumThe browser identification text, exact or contains.
Discord IDPremiumThe answer to a Discord custom field at checkout. Only offered when a product asks for one.
Disposable e-mailProThrowaway e-mail providers, from a bundled offline list.
CountryProOne or more countries, detected from the network the buyer connects through.
TorProTor exit nodes, from a public list that is refreshed every day.
Regex matchProPattern matching for e-mail, domain, user agent and Discord rules. Patterns that could be very slow are refused.

VPN, ISP, ASN and City rules are marked Coming soon: they need a paid IP-intelligence service. Premium allows 10 active rules, Pro allows 50. Each rule can be limited to certain payment methods and to a timeframe, and has an internal reason that only you see.

Buyer privacy

Sellers never see buyer IP addresses. We do not store them for Anti-Fraud either: only a one-way fingerprint of the address (and of its network range) is kept, together with the country. In the logs the value shows Hidden for privacy plus a short fingerprint so you can tell repeat buyers apart. To block a network, use Block network on a log row or an order: our server finds the stored fingerprint, you never type or see an address. Fraud logs are deleted automatically after 90 days.

Plans and downgrades

On the Free plan the Anti-Fraud pages explain the upgrade. If you downgrade, your rules are kept but they are not enforced, and Pro-only rules stop working on Premium.
